About Us
Who we are
We are a trade association whose members account for 65% of the fruit exports in Colombia.
The following exporting companies make up our organization: Caribbean Exotics, Colombian Paradise, Jardín Exotics, Nativa Produce, OCATI, San Basilio, Prosagro Export, Montana Fruits, Barbatuska, Nuticol and Isashii Fruits. These companies are committed to the industry, they have assumed high risks, and invested their own funds to position Passifloras in the European market.
Our assocation has a broad economic impact on the fruit export industry in Colombia, which reached 15.451 tons, equal to 53 million dollars, at the end of 2023.
The total production of Colombia’s most exotic fruits: purple passion fruit, granadilla, passion fruit, banana passion fruit, cholupa, and badea, came in at 316.816 tons, grown across 20.694 hectares, thanks to the hard work of families and rural women.

Social impact
The cultivation of passifloras, especially purple passion fruit or gulupa, generates 4,284 direct jobs (family labor), in 837 Ha belonging to members of Avance Pasifloras.
Specialized production areas have an average of 12 direct workers per hectare/week. Harvest work is carried out mainly by women, which is why the involvement of rural women in the production of gulupa is approximately 50%.
